The Nanyang Business School's MBA programme in Singapore has been ranked 24th in the world by the prestigious Financial Times newspaper of United Kingdom. The rankings dubbed the Financial Times 2009 Global MBA Rankings list the Top 100 full-time Master of Business Administration ( MBA ) programmes worldwide. Nanyang Technological University's MBA came in No. 24 while the National University of Singapore's ( NUS ) MBA took 35th place.

The FT Rankings as they are popularly known were based on three main areas: salaries of graduates and career development, the diversity and international reach of the business school and its MBA programmes, as well as each school's research capabilities. The National University of Singapore prides itself as the only Singapore business school to be ranked among the best in the world for both its MBA and Executive MBA programmes. Why? Because the National University of Singapore also earned a 20th place ranking in the Financial Times Executive MBA rankings in addition to its 35th place in the full-time MBA rankings. The Singapore Management University's MBA programme is not ranked because it is less than 5 years old and is also not yet accredited by any of the big 3 business school accreditation agencies, namely AACSB, EQUIS and AMBA.
