Profile
|
Northumbria University consistently tops the league table of modern universities in UK. There are around 27,000 students on campus and over 3500 more students studying outside UK through partner institutions. Its most famous alumnus is Mr Jonathan Ive, the designer of Apple iPod, the iconic MP3 player. Not surprisingly, Northumbria’s School of Design is a feather on their cap and the university scooped the top national award for fashion design a couple of years back.
